Newcastle’s Turkish Baths are opened in 2021, their restoration having been completed in summer 2021. They join the refurbished 25 yard swimming pool, and new gym and fitness studio in the city centre Art Deco building on Northumberland Street in Newcastle.
What changes have been made?
New showers, changing rooms and screens have been installed in the basement Turkish Baths suite, along with spa treatment rooms. However, the majority of the Grade 11 listed Turkish Baths remain the same, having had some restoration and repairs.
